Give yourself the gift of grounding and step into an "analog reality" at the Chipman Inn. This community gathering features readings by two local authors:

• Jim Ellefson (Leicester), a recently retired Champlain College creative writing professor, reading from his newest book, “Conversations with the Underground”.

• Tal Birdsey (Ripton), poet and head teacher at the North Branch School, reading from his poetry collection, “Burnt Mountain Blues”.

In addition to the literary readings, guests can view an exhibition of Birdsey’s abstract paintings hanging on the walls of the inn. Relax with light bites, homemade cookies, and genuine conversation.
